1.2 In these rules words in the singular shall include the plural; and words in the masculine gender shall include the feminine.
2.1 These rules and the Rules and Regulations of the Atlantic Lottery Corporation, with the necessary modifications, apply to the PRO•LINE POOLS lottery game conducted by the Corporation in participating Atlantic provinces. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between these rules and the Rules and Regulations of the Atlantic Lottery Corporation and the conditions and explanations appearing on a ticket or such other conditions as are established by the Corporation, these rules shall prevail.
2.2 The Corporation may amend these rules at any time and in any manner.
2.3 The Corporation, in its sole discretion, may at all times refuse to issue tickets bearing any selection or may limit the aggregate wager or prize payout on any pool, game, combination of games, or ticket, or combination thereof.
2.4 The Corporation, in its sole discretion, may delay publishing the determination of results of any game.
2.5 PRO•LINE POOLS is not associated with, sponsored or authorized by any professional sports league, member teams, team players or other affiliates in any way.
3.1 Persons under the age of 19 shall not participate in this lottery game.
3.2 In the event of any discrepancy between published pool or game information and the official pool or game information available from the Corporation, the latter shall prevail.
3.3 Players must predict an outcome on all games made available in a pool. A player shall, in the manner provided in the instructions, indicate on the selection slip his selection and present the completed slip to a participating retailer and pay the retailer $5.00 per selection prior to the cut off time of the earliest game selected. The Retailer shall, in such manner as the Corporation may determine from time to time, communicate to the Corporation the player’s selection. When the continuation of a suspended game is part of a double header, the PRO•LINE POOLS game offered for wagering on that date will be the regularly scheduled game, which will follow the completion of the suspended game.
3.6 Any game that has actually commenced or has been completed prior to the issuance of a ticket which included a wager on that game shall, with respect to such ticket, be considered a push. In the event that one-half or more of the games listed on a pool are assigned an outcome of a push pursuant to this Article 3.6, the Corporation may choose to cancel that pool and refund all tickets sold for that pool.
3.7 For the purpose of awarding prizes, final results of the games are as determined by the Corporation, including extra play, as verified by the Corporation. A game which is delayed, postponed, suspended, canceled or called, resulting in that game being considered incomplete in accordance with the rules and regulations governing that sport, shall be considered a push. In the event of conflicting, misprinted, or erroneous game results, the results, as determined by the Corporation, shall be final and binding upon all players.
3.8 In the event that one-half or more of the games listed on a pool are cancelled and/or not played within 48 hours of their original start time, the Corporation may choose to cancel that pool and refund all tickets sold for that pool.

4.1 The Corporation shall determine from time to time a prize structure for PRO•LINE POOLS in such manner as it deems fit and, once determined, such prize structure shall form part of these rules.
4.2 The winning tickets for each pool are determined by identifying the tickets with the most number of correct picks among all PRO•LINE POOLS tickets for each winning tier. The tiers are defined as 1) the tickets with the most number of wins for a PRO•LINE POOLS pool and 2) the tickets with the second most number of wins for a PRO•LINE POOLS pool. The prize pool, as stated earlier, is defined as sixty percent of the sales generated from a PRO•LINE POOLS card. The first tier will receive 70% of the total prize pool with a minimum prize of $10. The 2nd tier will receive the other 30% with a minimum prize of $5. In the event that there is more than one ticket with the most number of correct picks or second most number of picks, the prize amount for that prize tier will be equally divided amongst all the winners. The winning ticket prize for the 1st tier will be at least double that of the 2nd tier winning ticket. In the event that a winning ticket prize from the 1st tier is not double that of a winning ticket prize in the 2nd tier or the second tier is less than the minimum, ALC will change the percentage (from the original 70/30 percentage split) each tier receives in order to guarantee that the 1st tier will receive double and that all minimum prizes are met.
5.1 Where a winning ticket includes a game, which is not completed before 2:30 a.m. (in Atlantic Standard Time or Atlantic Daylight Savings Time), prizes will not be available for payment until 24 hours following the determination of results for such game.
5.2 All winning tickets must be claimed within two (2) years from the date of purchase.
